The beech trees in this season
\nEach wear a golden gown,
\nAnd in the strips of woodland,
\nDeciduous leaves fall down.
\nAll sorts of berries ripen
\nAnd turn a vibrant red
\nSo in the coldest season,
\nThe wayside birds are fed.<\/p>\n

\nThe patterns still repeat,
\nBut with our climate changing
\nWe haven’t got much time
\nTo change our wasteful ways
\nAnd repent of climate crime.<\/p>\n
\nWith all these things around us<\/em>
\nMay we learn to share<\/em>
\nThe good things of Creation<\/em>
\nAnd for our planet, care.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nThe geese have come to rest,
\nBy patterns of migration
\nWe all are truly blessed.
\nBut temperatures are rising,
\nThe poorest bear the cost
\nWe must change how we’re living
\nOr all we know is lost.<\/p>\n
\nWith all these things around us<\/em>
\nMay we learn to share<\/em>
\nThe good things of Creation<\/em>
\nAnd for our planet, care.<\/em><\/p>\n
